Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse (ER Pediatric) at a children's hospital located at the North Campus. This role involves providing high-acuity pediatric care in a fast-paced emergency environment, supporting a team of interdisciplinary professionals. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a busy ED servicing approximately 150-200 patients daily, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department experience, and at least 1 year of recent pediatric emergency department experience.
- Certifications: BLS, PALS; ACLS and TNCC preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Emergency Department and Level I Trauma - Pediatric Emergency Department experience.
- Additional Qualifications: Recent (within 1 year) Level I Trauma - Pediatric Emergency Department experience, Epic EMR proficiency within the last year, and comfort caring for high-acuity pediatric patients.
- Travelers must be comfortable working collaboratively within large interdisciplinary teams, and experience in trauma, procedural sedation, and pediatric triage is strongly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required; travel to other practice areas within the clinical competence and within 35 miles of the facility may occur with proper orientation.

- End Date: 01/23/2027.
- Additional Information: No requested time off approved within the first two weeks. Candidates must be available to work at least one winter holiday, including Thanksgiving Eve/Thanksgiving Night or Christmas Eve/Christmas Night.
