Job Summary
ICU Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) Day Shift 10/05/2026 to 12/26/2026. This position involves providing specialized care in a highly advanced cardiac care intensive care unit. The role requires handling complex medical equipment and delivering care to patients following open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries in a 20-bed unit.

Job Details

Schedule: Varies, 7A-7P
Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare professional license, minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience within the specialty, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
Additional Information: The unit uses specialized devices including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and epicardial pacemakers. Candidate must be prepared to work 2 major holidays among Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, or the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and 1 minor holiday among the specified options.
