Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for imaging procedures, including prep and recovery for interventions such as IR, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. The position requires flexibility with various shift start times and on-call shifts, with weekends and holidays typically off.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts (0730-1230). Various start times include 0630, 0715, and 0800. Each shift lasts 10 hours, with 2-3 on-call shifts per month.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. Certifications include American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Additional Information: The role involves nursing prep and recovery for interventional radiology, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine (NM), and fluoroscopy procedures.
Holiday Requirements: Candidates must be available to work two major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, along with one minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
