Job Summary:
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a specialized medical environment focusing on complex rehabilitation with cardiac monitoring requirements. Located at the facility, the role involves providing care to a medically complex patient population, including those with LVAD, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury (SCI), wounds, CAPD, and vents. The RN will work scheduled night shifts, with options for 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, and will be expected to work every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license with 1-2 years of experience in a medical environment involving respiratory or vented patients; BLS certification required, ACLS preferred; location within the jurisdiction; experience with IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight cath, foley care, Port access, central line dressing, and wound measurements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs every Monday; profiles must be complete and accurate for review. The RN will be expected to float to sister units or additional units if working 12-hour shifts. Flu vaccinations are required unless medically declined.
