Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) registered nurse position in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing care on a Telemetry, Orthopedic, and Trauma unit with a patient population including adolescents and adults. The position requires managing cardiac drips, orthopedic injuries, wounds, chest tubes, Halo devices, traction, pin care, and neurosurgical patients, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to patient recovery and safety.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry (TELE)
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks, with a start date of 10/19/2026 and an end date of 01/16/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nursing license in Pennsylvania or a Compact state, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, 13 years of experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Education: Active nursing license
- Experience: 13 years of relevant clinical experience on similar units, with no minimum experience required for the role itself
- Additional information: This is a telemetry, orthopedic, and trauma unit caring for adolescent and adult patients, managing cardiac drips, orthopedic injuries such as joints, wounds, chest tubes, Halo, traction, and pin care, as well as neurosurgical patients
