Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on neuro-related cases. The position requires a high level of proficiency in neuro patient management and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification, minimum of 3 years of ICU experience, and 2 years of charge nurse experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro patient cases, proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator care, and neuro-specific procedures such as ICP monitoring and post-neurosurgery care
• Float: Float rotation may be required within scope of practice; may float to other units or campuses based on hospital needs, with a notice period of approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start and shuttle availability if requested
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of ICU experience is required; 2 years of charge nurse experience is preferred
• Certifications: Up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing neuro patients, ventilator management, invasive lines, and cerebral monitoring procedures. Onboarding involves labs completion within 3-5 days of contract signing, with all documentation submitted 10 days prior to start date.
