Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in a healthcare setting. Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with an expected start date of 10/05/2026 and end date of 01/02/2027.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, current basic life support (BLS) certification, manual dexterity, ability to respond quickly in emergent situations, and current registration with the relevant state regulatory agency. No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience. Additional related education or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves standing, walking, bending, and reaching frequently, with physical agility to respond to patient and surgical needs. Candidates must use proper body mechanics, handle sharps safely, and participate in emergency call rotation. The position requires maintaining professional decorum in stressful situations and staying current on developments in surgical technology.
