Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) for a healthcare provider located in an acute care unit specializing in labor, postpartum, and neonatal care. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and neonates. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a modern facility with comprehensive equipment and a dedicated team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, NRP certification, AWHONN intermediate or advanced, ACLS certification, two years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, well-baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfers.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Centricity electronic health record system.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit information includes 9 beds with varying patient ratios based on acuity.
  • Equipment used includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal Doppler, and syringe pumps.
  • Patient population includes laboring women, postpartum patients, and neonates.
  • Must demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum).
  • Dress code is scrub attire in black; no unacceptable attire specified.
  • Position is a contractor replacement, with a start date of 10/04/2026 and end date of 01/03/2027.
