Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (RN) for a day shift position at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care on an oncology-focused surgical floor, supporting patients with solid tumor conditions and delivering medications, treatments, and assessments aligned with best practices and clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Location: Days shift
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, oncology nursing experience, two years of current nursing experience, and a minimum of one travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Alaris infusion pumps; familiarity with electronic health record systems such as EPIC; previous employment in any capacity within any facility of the healthcare provider system.
- Additional Information: The unit is an 18-bed acute care setting caring for patients with solid tumor malignancies. Orientation occurs on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Candidates with prior employment within any healthcare facility of the system will require verification of at least a one-year absence before applying as a traveler. Verification of previous employment should be noted on the coversheet and within the work history.
