Description

Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse with recent experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support patient recovery and post-operative care. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing specialized care to patients emerging from anesthesia, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective recovery.

Job Details:

  • Position: Registered Nurse / PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
  • Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 10/19/2026
  • End Date: 01/16/2027
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in any state (VT license must be applied for upon acceptance), current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and dysrhythmia testing. Experience with pediatric and gynecologic (GYN) patients is required, demonstrating competency beyond primary PACU population.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred.
  • Additional Information:
    • IVS to review candidate profile, with the final employment offer at the discretion of the manager.
    • Orientation sessions are held biweekly.
    • Schedule requests are subject to managerial approval.
    • Candidates must have access to transportation, as public transit options are limited.
    • All employment gaps over 30 days should be thoroughly explained or documented.
    • RRMC does not accept local candidates.
    • Candidate profile packets with errors or incomplete information will be sent back for correction.
