Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery specialty position located at a high-volume, high-acuity maternity unit. This role involves caring for postpartum patients and managing high-risk obstetric cases, with a focus on postpartum treatment following delivery. The assignment offers flexibility in shift schedules and length, accommodating traveler preferences.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts or 4x12-hour shifts, with traveler choice.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of high-risk obstetric care experience, including postpartum management, magnesium sulfate administration, EPIC electronic health record experience, and ability to handle census surges. Valid compact license in state required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with substance withdrawal, JADA (Japan Alcohol and Drug Addiction) experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required at designated campuses.
• Extra Details: Candidates should be able to handle high acuity cases and manage a patient census surge, including managing a 4th couplet if needed. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays and adhere to scheduled RTO and specific scheduling requests.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent high-risk obstetric care experience with EPIC charting proficiency.
