Registered Nurse (RN), Telemetry, Lodi, California This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within a telemetry unit based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing nursing staff activities, coordinating care with other disciplines, and utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers bedside nursing care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; Acute care facility experience; Location in the state of practice; 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsible for collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment information, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress. Collaborates with the healthcare team, provides patient and family education, and participates in discharge planning. Delegates duties appropriately and ensures safety and quality in patient care.
