Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Bakersfield, California. This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care within the surgical setting, managing perioperative patient needs, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. The role requires supervision and coordination of nursing staff while adhering to established standards and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift from 6:30AM to 5:00PM, with on-call responsibilities every 6 weeks including 2-3 weekday and 1-2 weekend, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Operating Room (OR) specialty experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC)-ACLS certification; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Operating Room (OR) specialty experience; additional certifications relevant to perioperative nursing are a plus.
• Additional Information: The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting patient health data, developing and implementing surgical care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in discharge planning, and delegating duties appropriately within the surgical environment.
