Job Summary:
RN Medical Surgical with Telemetry position located in Portland, ME. This role involves providing patient care in a facility with 43 beds, focusing on medical telemetry and surgical patients. The position requires flexibility with shift assignments, including nights, for a duration from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and interpreting telemetry strips, 1-2 years of experience minimum
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with respiratory, medical telemetry, surgical patients, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory failure, and other acute or chronic conditions
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. IMC RNs may float within IMC units or to Med/Surg units based on unit need and skill level. Med/Surg RNs may float to other similar level of care units as needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Unique equipment used includes ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, and trach care/maintenance.
  • EMR system: Epic.
  • Dress code: Scrubs; unprofessional clothing or shirts with logos other than hospital-related are not acceptable.
