Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT) in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves assisting in the operating room, managing equipment, and supporting surgical teams at a facility with a focus on patient care across geriatrics, adults, and pediatrics. The position offers a dynamic environment within a 12-bed operating suite.

Job Details:

Location: Marquette, Michigan
Role: OR Support Tech
Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
Number of Openings: 2
Shift: 11:00 AM 11:00 PM / 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with weekly guaranteed hours of 40
Schedule: Every other weekend on call; on-call required for one weekend out of six
Required Qualifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications; 1 year of experience; surgical support experience including OR cleaning and equipment management; proficiency with equipment handling and sterile techniques
Preferred Qualifications: Laser safety training, team-focused personality, ability to work independently
Additional Information: Responsible for equipment management and OR cleaning; must wear hospital-provided scrub attire (Ceil Blue) and suitable shoes on-site; adhere to hospital dress code and policies
