Description

Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurses (RNs) are needed for an assignment in a healthcare facility. This position involves floating team work, coverage for nights, and a schedule that includes every other weekend, with flexibility to meet unit and patient care needs. The assignment duration is approximately 16 to 26 weeks, with potential for ongoing opportunities depending on the facility's needs.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid New York state license or proof of application with applied date; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; minimum of 1 year telehealth experience required; experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, IV insertion, and post-cardiac catheter care; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
  • Additional Information: Assignment for 16-26 weeks starting 11/02/2026 through 05/02/2027; no block scheduling; bi-weekly orientation on Mondays; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; comprehensive work history details, including bed count, EMR systems, and facility type, are required for submission.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Travel Required: No travel required for this assignment.
  • Other Considerations: Reliable transportation, including personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires from November to April, is strongly recommended.
