Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a facility environment. This role involves assessing patients, implementing nursing care plans, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, and administering medications within the scope of practice for registered nurses. The position supports patient education and promotes independence, requiring a clinical skillset suited for handling cardiac drips, TAVRs, and Watchman mitral clips. The opportunity is ideal for RNs with at least two years of experience seeking a 13-week assignment working night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week, for the duration of 13 weeks starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 01/25/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Arizona license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), over 2 years of RN experience, familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Cerner preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This is a float pool position, requiring flexibility to cover multiple facilities including the primary facility and additional locations. The candidate should be comfortable handling cardiac drips, TAVRs, and Watchman mitral clips, and be familiar with standard procedures within a step-down acuity environment.
