Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, ER, located in Alabama. This position involves providing high-quality emergency medical care in a busy, Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center with a capacity of over 60,000 patients annually. The role requires strong clinical skills, flexibility to float to other units and hospitals, and the ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details

Position Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency medical services to diverse patient populations. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Certifications and Education Requirements: AHA (American Heart Association) ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH or Red Cross Certifications, TNCC, secure onsite license, and current Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a Compact license.
Experience Required: 2 years of recent ER experience; consideration given to candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license, with a total of at least 2 years in the field of emergency nursing.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment; must be committed to patient safety and quality care; readiness to float to other units/hospitals as needed; timesheet approver is Neil Holland.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have active RN licensure in Alabama or a compatible state, and meet the certification standards outlined.
