Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) located in a healthcare facility is seeking qualified professionals for a rotating shift position. Job Details

• Schedule: 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift timing varies, including early mornings starting around 0700 hours.
• Required Qualifications: No specific experience required; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); strong intravenous (IV) skills; must meet general healthcare professional standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Shift expectations include rotating days, and weekends are covered by on-call duties with 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and 2 hours on weekdays with self-scheduling.
  • Holiday coverage is required, with one major and one minor holiday.
  • Call expectations involve on-call 1-2 times per week.
  • Orientation on the floor lasts approximately one week.
  • Hospital policies allow cancellation of up to two shifts within a 12-week period or three shifts within 13 weeks without penalty.
  • EMR systems used include EPIC and EndoWorks.
  • Uniform consists of navy blue pants with solid navy-blue tops or solid white tops; jackets are solid navy blue or white.
