Job Summary:
Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) located in the area is seeking a highly skilled healthcare professional for a rotating shift position. This role involves working in a dynamic outpatient and inpatient environment, supporting diagnostic procedures and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, strong technical skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Education Requirements: Relevant healthcare education and certifications approved for laboratory work.
• Years of Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Shift time: 07:00 to 17:30, with days varying.
• Weekend work: Every other weekend with on-call responsibilities (10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with self-scheduling for Monday through Friday on-call hours).
• Holiday coverage: On-call for major and minor holidays as scheduled.
• Call duties: RNs are expected to take call 1-2 times per week.
• Additional details: No float requirements; candidates must possess strong intravenous skills.
• EMR Systems: EPIC and EndoWorks; moving to Probation.
• Floor Orientation: One week.
• Dress Code: Navy Blue Pants and Solid Navy-Blue tops or Solid white; jackets in Solid Navy Blue or Solid White.
• Moving and cancellation policies apply as specified with no prohibited content.
