Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position available in Winchester, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized post-operative recovery care to surgical patients. The position is part-time, scheduled for daytime shifts, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes in a community hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); active license as a Registered Nurse (RN); no minimum years of experience required; location must be 60 miles or greater from the facility; valid certification required prior to start date
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in post-anesthesia or recovery nursing is a plus
• Additional Information: Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. This position aims to replace perm staff and offers an opportunity to work in a modern hospital equipped with dedicated recovery units, updated technology, and comprehensive patient care services. Candidates must have the required certifications and be able to commit to the specified schedule.
