Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nursing The organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will work as a full partner on the healthcare team, delivering patient-centered care to neonates and their families while demonstrating safe practice and adherence to clinical standards. This role involves independently managing complex neonatal patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and expanding clinical expertise in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: - Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License; - Current American Heart Association (AHA) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS); - American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); - Minimum of three years of experience in a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; - Proficiency in operation of clinical equipment/machines, computers, and related technology; - Experience guiding, assisting, and directing unlicensed assistive personnel as defined by state regulations and organizational policies; - Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
