Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions following established practice standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of supportive and restorative therapy and treatment to promote patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities include health data assessment, health teaching, counseling, execution of medical functions, treatment plan monitoring, clinical documentation, patient referral, and resource utilization.
