Job Summary
Telemetry (RN) Nights The organization is seeking an experienced telemetry registered nurse for a night shift position. The role involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility, providing specialized care on a designated stroke unit with Level II Trauma certification. The ideal candidate will have experience with NIH stroke scale and proficiency in caring for neurology patients, including managing neuro-specific procedures and assessments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure in the applicable state (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of RN experience, familiarity with NIH stroke scale, proficiency with Epic charting system, and clinical experience in neuro/neurology units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro patient care, stroke units, and neuro-specific procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit needs.
• Additional Information: Position covers a designated stroke unit with JCAHO designation, spine center of excellence, and neuro experience including neuro stepdown, neurosurgery pre/post care, and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates must commit to working three out of five major holidays and complete orientation modules prior to start. References required: two within last three years, covering at least six months each. Candidates will need to supply or be provided with communication devices as needed.
