Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare organization located in the area. The role involves providing care to adult oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy, managing port access, and supporting patients through radiation and post-treatment recovery. The role starts on 10/26/2026 and is expected to end on 01/25/2027, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts totaling at least 48 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the applicable state; Certifications include ACLS and BLS; Prior experience in medical-surgical or oncology units preferred. First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree is preferred.
• Float: Float within service line may be required to meet facility needs.
• Additional Information: Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Experience in managing ports, administering chemotherapy (not by TN unless certified), and understanding of dysrhythmia interpretation required. The clinician will care for adult oncology patients with diagnoses including lung, breast, pancreatic cancers, and leukemia. Procedures include IV starts, port accessing, and central line care. This role does not require chemotherapy infusion experience.
