Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Surgical & Trauma ICU Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients undergoing surgical, trauma, and transplant procedures, including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. The position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week, with every other weekend scheduled. The ICU has a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2, with adjustments to 1:3 during periods of low acuity. The role includes floating to other equivalent ICU and step-down units as needed, ensuring clinical coverage across multiple units.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 10/11/2026 and ending on 01/09/2027.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of RN experience minimum in ICU, EPIC EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience, 1 year of travel nursing experience, and 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Surgical ICU or Trauma ICU experience.
• Additional Information: The ICU population includes surgical, trauma, and transplant patients; flexibility to float to other units as needed is expected. The environment demands proficiency in managing complex critical care cases within a fast-paced setting.
