Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a fast-paced observations unit. This role involves caring for lower to higher acuity patients, including trauma overflow and mid-hold cases, with the possibility of floating to other areas of competency as needed. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in an acute care setting within an ICU specialty.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an intensive care or similar acute care setting. Experience may be in a comparable specialty with demonstrated competency.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
• Additional Information: Nurses will be staff in a 28-bed inpatient observation unit near the emergency department, caring for patients with varying levels of acuity. Flexibility to float to other units as required. All demographic information, including badge-appropriate photo, must be provided. Holiday work is an expectation.
