Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position located near the emergency department. This role involves staffing a 28-bed inpatient observation unit in a fast-paced environment with varying patient acuity levels. The nurse may be required to float to other units of competency as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or similar acute care setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have relevant experience staffing a 28-bed inpatient observation unit, with the ability to adapt to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. All demographic information, including badge-appropriate photo, must be provided. Holidays are an expectation for this role.
