Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse practitioner specializing in the care of patients with a broad spectrum of medical conditions, working on the second floor of a medical facility. This role involves managing a mixture of patient needs in a unit designed for intermediate care, with a focus on teamwork and positive attitudes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in nursing practice with no minimum experience required; nursing degree from an accredited program; eligible for licensure in the state; must be available to start on 10/19/2026 and complete the assignment by 01/18/2027.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in progressive care or step-down units; strong teamwork skills and positive attitude.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Meditech electronic medical records system. Typical staffing includes one CNA and three RNs during night shifts, with patient ratios of 4:1. Floating may be required in rotation. The unit accommodates staff with a supportive environment, updated equipment, and a focus on quality patient care.
