Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) nursing position is based at a highly rated academic healthcare facility located in Gainesville, Florida. This temporary assignment is ideal for experienced registered nurses (RNs) with a background in emergency care, providing an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced trauma center while enhancing professional credentials. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, with the flexibility to float between multiple designated locations during the assignment term.

Job Details

Shift Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 01/16/2027
Required Qualifications: 2-3 years as an RN with prior travel experience; valid EPIC Florida (FL) or compact nursing license; certifications including BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and ACLS; Florida ACHA vaccination compliance or valid exemption; clinical experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers preferred.
Additional Information: The position requires passing a basic specialty test and an EKG interpretation assessment prior to orientation. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to identify lethal rhythms and be flexible with floating across ER locations within a 50-mile radius. Unplanned time off may lead to contract cancellation. The role involves required weekend and holiday coverage, with no parking decal provided. Flexibility and strong travel experience are essential qualities for success in this assignment.
