Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves working with multiple units within the Med/Surg Float Pool, providing patient care during scheduled night shifts. The position requires flexibility to meet the staffing needs across various units and involves float to the emergency room as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, a valid Trauma Nursing (TN) license or a compact license on file at the time of submission, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system, prior float experience within Med/Surg units, and the ability to float to emergency room as needed.
- Float: No float rotation required, though float to ER may be needed.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16. The assignment start date is 11/09/2026, with an end date of 02/06/2027. Candidates must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit. No time off is approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
