Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a regional medical center. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, with an emphasis on assessing patient acuity, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring patient safety. The position requires adaptability to varying patient volumes and a team-oriented personality.

Job Details

• Location: The facility features a 22-bed Emergency Department staffed by a team of 64 professionals, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Unit Clerks. The department is equipped with Meditech electronic medical records and routinely performs patient triage, diagnostic coordination, and care planning.

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and relevant education. Candidates must have a valid license and be able to work in the specified region. No minimum experience required.

• Schedule: Nights; Shift Hours: 10; Minimum Hours Per Week: 30.

• Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient acuity, prioritizing patient needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely care. Flexibility in scheduling and maintaining professionalism are essential. Dress code is nursing royal blue, with teal for unit secretaries and Caribbean green for CNAs, PCTs, and other staff. The position may include weekends and on-call duty as needed.
