Job Summary:
The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a medical-surgical setting on the nights shift. The role involves providing safe, effective, and patient-family centered care consistent with the organization and State of Maine standards. The RN will utilize excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills, and maintain the ability to function independently and respond rapidly in emergency situations. This position offers a quick start opportunity.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, educational requirement per the organizations standards, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. The candidate must be willing to start quickly and work in a medical-surgical environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience within a medical-surgical floor setting and strong communication skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care, acting rapidly in emergency situations, and maintaining confidentiality. The position requires excellent assessment and documentation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
