Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in an acute care setting within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-level critical care to patients with conditions such as heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, strokes, and post-operative care. The position requires a dedicated team player capable of managing titratable drips and reading monitor strips in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified, facility has a radius rule of 50 miles, requiring candidates permanent address to be confirmed outside this radius before review.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, scheduled by the unit scheduler, with flexibility for block or grouped shifts; weekends as needed, first to float to other units including ICU telehealth, Meridian, and Boise ICUs.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum 1 year of ICU experience; experience with titrating drips such as Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem; must be a team player capable of float responsibilities.

• Additional Information: Unit involves managing patients with complex diagnoses (e.g., strokes, GIB, post-surgical patients), with hospitalist and intensivist support available 24/7. Staff includes CNA support per shift. RNs are required to read strips utilizing Spacelabs monitors. Professional dress code in any clean and professional color. Orientation duration ranges from 1 to 2 shifts based on experience.
