Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Open Heart specialty position is located in a pediatric cardiac intensive care setting. The role involves providing specialized care for neonatal through young adult patients with congenital heart disease, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and ventricular assist device (VAD) support. The position demands clinical expertise in pediatric cardiovascular care within a 24-bed ICU and an overflow unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/11/2026 to 01/09/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license verification, professional ascension profile, two professional references, completion of ascension skills checklist, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), a minimum of 3 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart specialty, and valid license or certification/verification
