Job Summary
Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse in San Antonio, Texas. This position involves providing high-quality pediatric emergency care in a fast-paced, high-volume pediatric emergency department. The role requires a dedicated RN with pediatric experience, who is committed to compassionate patient care and family-centered practices.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift with shift hours of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and additional shifts including 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The minimum weekly hours are 36.
Required Qualifications: Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (temporary license not accepted), BLS, PALS, ENPC, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), at least 2 years of emergency department pediatric experience, and certification in pediatric advanced life support.
Preferred Qualifications: Leadership skills such as charge nurse or nursing educator experience, proficiency with Meditech electronic documentation system, and experience working with pediatric patients in an emergency setting.
Additional Information: The position entails floating as needed within the emergency department and inpatient units. Candidates should be self-motivated with a passion for high-quality care, able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and adhere to hospital dress code and body art policies.
