Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) registered nurse position is located in a children's hospital that provides specialized care to neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics. The role involves float between units, including pediatric medical/surgical and neonatal intensive care units, with a focus on critical care nursing in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of pediatric intensive care experience, BLS and PALs certifications, proficiency in assist/manage intubation, ventilator management, PICC line management, ICU, post cardiac surgery, telemetry monitoring, and other specified skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level II experience, and prior travel or community hospital experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between pediatric medical/surgical and NICU units.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work variable weekends and holidays, with an orientation of 36 hours. References covering 1 year of recent clinical experience are required. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment, providing critical care to a diverse patient population.
