Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. The RN provides comprehensive patient care within the scope of practice defined by regulatory standards, assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and their families. The role emphasizes collaborative care delivery in a dynamic clinical environment, promoting evidence-based practices and professional development.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, effective communication skills in English, 0 years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting is advantageous.
Additional Information: The RN will create a healing environment through patient and family presence, providing emotional support, education, and coordination of care. Responsibilities include data assessment, collaboration with the healthcare team, safe implementation of interventions, patient education tailored to development and cultural considerations, and participation in team activities to foster professional growth and unit morale.
