Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a surgical setting, supporting a variety of surgical procedures within a Level 1 trauma care environment. The position requires compliance with unit-specific protocols and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days, Friday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; ACLS (American Heart Association) certification, BLS (American Heart Association) certification; minimum of 2 years experience in operating room nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience; scrubbing required (OR technologists and scrub nurses); experience with EMR EPIC system.
• Additional Information: Unit orientation includes department-specific procedures; onboarding involves a two-week training period. The facility allows self-scheduling for weekend shifts; weekends are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Holiday work is required if scheduled on a weekend day; response time for call responses is 30 minutes. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. No float rotation required. Scrub dress code is provided.
