Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) professional in a hospital setting. This role involves working in a surgical environment, supporting multiple specialties, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures. The position offers night shifts, with a focus on acute care surgical procedures requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, with a shift hours of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Thursday.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting. Must have the ability to submit licenses and perform scrubbing duties.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma cases, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgeries. Prior scrub experience is required.
• Additional Information:
  • The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
  • Must be available for a unit-specific orientation; clinicians should be in the state during the orientation week.
  • Standard shift rotation includes working both weekdays and weekends, with occasional holiday work required.
  • EMR system in use is EPIC.
  • No float requirements; dress code is provided.
  • The hospital operates at Trauma Level 1, and the care setting is acute care.
  • Must submit valid licenses and have a minimum of one year experience if not specified otherwise.
