Description
Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in a daytime shift position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized unit that supports patients requiring a moderate level of care. The position includes working every other weekend with potential for floating to various units as needed to ensure smooth patient flow.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 12/12/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current Nursing license; BLS-American Heart Association certification; ACLS-American Heart Association certification; NIHSS certification preferred; Ability to titrate pressors is required; Level 1 trauma experience is preferred, or will be required if no prior travel experience; Epic experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma setting; proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
- Additional Information: The role may require floating to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units. Day one pass/fail testing will be administered, with practice tests available via Relias. Candidates must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (permanent, per diem, or contract). Weekly start dates are on Mondays.
