Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in San Joaquin County. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within the emergency department, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and utilizing critical thinking to promote patient safety and wellbeing. The role includes supervising nursing staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive emergency care.
Job Details:
- Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse
- Location: San Joaquin County
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred; Acute care facility experience Preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Required; Minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Essential Functions:
- Collects relevant patient data and analyzes it to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develops and implements care plans; coordinates care delivery; promotes health and safety.
- Evaluates patient progress and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
- Provides health information to patients and families, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties appropriately.
- Performs other clinical duties as assigned.
- Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; BLS certification from approved vendor.
