Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Southern California This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in a 144-bed healthcare facility. The role requires supervision and coordination of nursing staff activities, collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per organization policy; Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred); acute care facility experience preferred; minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role includes participating in discharge planning, delegating responsibilities appropriately, and providing health education to patients and families. Candidate must have EPIC experience. Holiday RTO will not be approved.
• Submission Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a current RN license, BLS certification, and proof of ICU experience.
