Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in a hospital setting. This role offers an opportunity to provide acute patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on critical and emergency interventions. The assignment includes night shifts with flexible options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse within a 50-mile local radius, with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC, all in hand at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, trauma centers, and charting with Epic electronic health records.
• Additional Information:
  • Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
  • The role involves managing a diverse range of patient conditions, such as trauma, stroke, respiratory issues, and psychiatric emergencies.
  • Responsibilities include intubation, arterial and central line management, chest tube management, procedural sedation, and interpretation of EKGs and arterial blood gases.
  • The facility is certified as a trauma center and stroke center.
  • Floating to similar units as needed and completing onsite modules during orientation.
  • Duration of the assignment is from 10/14/2026 to 01/13/2027.
