Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse / MS ONC Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a primary oncology unit treating all types of cancer in all phases of care from work-up to completion of therapy. The position requires expertise in administering inpatient chemotherapy regimens, post-operative care, and supporting patients through various cancer treatment stages within a tertiary care hospital setting.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
• Education Requirements: Not specified; minimum of 2 years of oncology experience required
• Experience Requirement: 2 years in oncology, with previous charge experience and teaching hospital experience preferred; 0 years minimum experience assumed
• Location Requirements: Must be at least 75 miles from the facility; open to pending license acceptance
• Work Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/02/2026 through 02/01/2027
• Responsibilities include administering inpatient chemotherapy, managing ports and central lines, providing post-op surgical care for uro-gyn and gynecologic oncology patients, and supporting neurological emergencies in the neuro overflow unit. Floating within scope to meet facility needs and working in a multidisciplinary environment with support teams such as IV, respiratory, and social services.
• Submission Requirements: All compliance documentation and modules due prior to start; EPIC training completion required.
