Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nurse in an acute care setting. This position involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit with a focus on delivering high-quality healthcare during night shifts. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Licensure to submit; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS); minimum of four years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Position involves working on an acute division unit with a focus on trauma level care. Unit notes include a cancellation policy requiring a 14-day notice and a 24-hour call-off policy every 13-week contract. Charting is done via MEDITECH electronic medical records system.
