Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating patient treatment plans. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to the first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to the first shift (if applicable). ICU experience required. Two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and provides patient education. Initiates discharge planning from day one and ensures effective communication across the care team. Delegates tasks appropriately and supervises ancillary staff. Maintains safety and infection control standards and participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively engages in ongoing professional development.
