Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor nurse in a healthcare setting located in Rochester, New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a general hospital environment. The position supports a 19-bed unit with a staff ratio of approximately 6:1, depending on patient census, and requires flexibility to accommodate the needs of the unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, experience in medical surgical rehabilitation or med surg, and New Hampshire state license or appropriate license recognized in the state
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in wound care, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and emergency room (ER) nursing
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The nurse will work every other weekend. The unit utilizes mechanical lifts, Sara steady, Baxter pumps, Kangaroo pumps, and Meditech electronic medical records. The role demands someone who is flexible, kind, thorough, and adherent to unit policies and guidelines.
