Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (OH) professional in a high-volume hospital setting. The position involves supporting a busy Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) service line that performs routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Candidates must have at least three years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR Certified Surgical Technician (CST) with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, enabling them to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 0645 to 1915 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting, with verified references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no additional training was needed. Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment and operate with minimal onboarding.
- Additional Information: Candidates applying to this order must have a proven ability to manage all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, including those requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Because this position involves weekend coverage, participation in the call schedule is optional and at the discretion of the associate.
