Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty position located in an acute care setting. The role involves supporting Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures with an emphasis on cardiac cases such as CABG, TAVR, minimally invasive, and open valve replacements. The position is scheduled for day shifts with call responsibilities, requiring proficiency in cardiac surgical support and standard operating procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4/10s shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with scheduled call shifts (10 call shifts every 6-week schedule) and weekends.
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved; minimum 2 years of cardiac experience; license to submit; location requirements not applicable; 0 years of experience minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing experience in cardiac cases such as CABG, TAVR, minimally invasive, and open valve replacements.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter durations. The charting system used is Epic.
